Susana Miranda, interdisciplinary creator from Tarragona and founder of Sumi with Soul, presents Transformed Inheritances, a proposal that turns textiles into a territory of memory, identity and transformation. Starting from vintage Japanese kimonos, especially kurotomesode, she rescues stories, traces and inheritances contained in the materials, giving them a new life without erasing their origin. A delicate look at time, transmission and the beauty of transforming without forgetting.
Reus Castle of the Waiter Heritage · History · Unique space
In the heart of the old town of Reus, the Castell del Cambrer preserves the city’s medieval memory and an atmosphere of stone, silence and history. Its sober and monumental character creates a particularly suggestive setting for Transformed Inheritances, where Susana Miranda’s fabrics can dialogue with a space that has also accumulated layers of time, uses and memories.
