Meritxell de Soto is a DJ and performer from Barcelona, and her work revolves around the deconstructed club, fusing powerful beats with experimental and underground sounds. Her high-energy sets explore the tensions between body and machine, channelling a femme perspective through grimewave and techno. At Muses she will present Third Space, a performance that brings together DJing and choreography to reflect on protection, vulnerability and resistance within the club. Through voice, tracks and movement, Meritxell questions what it means to inhabit space as a FLINTA body —and whether safety can ever truly be safe.
