Adela Beltran
Adela Beltran Sancho, born in Alcanar, is an artist and graphic designer trained in Barcelona who has developed her own language focused on the pictorial representation of anonymous women of the past: strong and resilient figures often absent from official accounts. Her work seeks to recover memory and dignity through painting, evoking in each look the strength and spirit of life transmitted from generation to generation.
His career combines techniques such as oil, acrylic, wax and collage, and he works on canvas and organic or recycled materials that dialogue with collective memory. This approach has led him to exhibit in Barcelona and internationally, and to be part of relevant collections and projects.
A prominent example is the exhibition For the love of life. Women of our past , presented at the Palau de la Música Catalana (season 2024-25), where she brought together previously unpublished pieces in tribute to women silenced by history but essential in their communities. Through collected fabrics and seams, she establishes a dialogue between present and past.
Adela is president of the Úniques Foundation, a project dedicated to highlighting and supporting female creators.
At MUSES Primavera, Adela Beltran within MUSES & CUPRA BAYCAR “Art and Music that drives emotions” will provide a powerful and emotional visual proposal, where the female face becomes a symbol of memory, dignity and living heritage.
Exhibition open from September 5 to November 3, 2026, within the opening hours of CUPRA Baycar Reus
